Gutter cleaning cost in Lakewood, OH
Priced by the house, because that is how the work goes. A bungalow is one ladder setup and an hour; a double is two houses stacked and a ladder that reaches the third floor. Here is what each actually runs.

Gutter cleaning prices in Lakewood
| House | Typical price |
|---|---|
| One-story bungalow or ranch, no porch gutters | $120 to $180 |
| Two-story colonial, 130 to 160 ft of gutter | $170 to $250 |
| Two-and-a-half story double, both units, two downspout systems | $220 to $325 |
| Add: porch roof or bay-window gutters | $20 to $40 each |
| Add: first cleaning after several skipped years (packed, sprouting) | $50 to $100 |
Includes scooping every run, flushing every downspout until it runs clear, a hanger and corner check, and bagged debris on the tree lawn. Twice-a-year customers on the same house get the second visit at the low end of the range.
Repair · Seamless · Guards
Everything else, by the job

| Gutter repair (re-hang a section, reseal corners, fix a downspout) | $150 to $350 |
| Replace a damaged gutter section | $12 to $20 per ft, $250 minimum |
| Seamless 5-inch aluminum, installed with downspouts | $9 to $14 per ft |
| Seamless 6-inch aluminum, installed with 3x4 downspouts | $11 to $17 per ft |

| Downspout extension to grade or tie-in to existing drain | $40 to $120 each |
Footage is measured at the house, not guessed from the street. Height adds to a double; a rotten fascia board that has to be replaced first is priced separately and shown before work starts.

What moves the price on a Lakewood house
Height first. A one-story bungalow's gutter is 10 feet up and a double's is nearly 30, and the difference is not just a taller ladder but a slower, more careful job with a standoff on every setup. Footage second, which on the narrow lots here is mostly about depth: a house 24 feet wide and 50 deep has more gutter than it looks like from the sidewalk. Then the trees, because a gutter under a sycamore that has not been touched in three years is packed like sod and takes twice as long as one cleaned last fall.
What does not move the price: the neighborhood. Birdtown and Clifton Park pay the same for the same house. The one exception is the built-in box gutter on the older streets, which is a different job quoted after a look.
Wondering whether to keep paying for cleanings or put guards on? The math is on the guards page. Whether a sagging gutter is a repair or a replacement gets both prices side by side. Or call (216) 609-0803 and describe the house.

Questions about the price
Why is a double so much more than a colonial to clean?
Height and count. The main gutter on a two-and-a-half story double is 25 to 30 feet up, which means a bigger ladder, a standoff, and slower, safer work. And a double is really two houses: two front porch gutters, two rear runs, two full downspout systems. You are paying for what is actually up there.
Is gutter cleaning priced per foot or per house?
Per house, always. Per-foot cleaning prices are how a $99 ad becomes a $340 invoice. The price you get here is for the whole house as described, with the add-ons for porch gutters or a badly packed first cleaning listed separately so you can see them.
What is included in the cleaning price?
Every run scooped by hand, every downspout flushed until it runs clear at the bottom, hangers and corners checked, debris bagged in paper yard-waste bags on the tree lawn. Not included: repairs, which get their own written price if something needs one, and you decide.
How much do new gutters cost on a whole house in Lakewood?
A colonial with about 150 feet of gutter in 5-inch seamless aluminum lands around $1,400 to $2,100 with downspouts. A double with two full systems runs $2,200 to $3,500 depending on footage and height. Guards added at the same time are the cheapest way to get them.
Do you charge extra to come to Rocky River or the West Park side?
No. Lakewood, Rocky River, and the West Park and Edgewater edge of Cleveland are the same trip. Farther out, ask, and you will get a straight answer before anyone drives.
